The Slaughter-Lohman equation calculates body fat percentage from two skinfolds measurements and is ideal for children 8 to 18 years old.
To calculate body fat percentage, measure take the skinfolds (in millimeters) with a skinfold caliper and use the followings equations:
Boys: % Body Fat = 0.735 (Triceps skinfold + Calf skinfold) + 1.0
Girls: % Body Fat= 0.610 (Triceps skinfold + Calf skinfold) + 5.1
